We are going to need a much better photo. It looks like a run of the mill cent to me.

Now would be a great time to have a microscope. I think my eyes are playing tricks in me...

Lighting can make or break you. There is at time lighting that reflects off the rim to make a small beam on a corner of the device. If you wonder if it could be that, check to see by rotating the coin slightly. If the notch appears exactly in the same place, then it maybe a doubled die. If it goes away, it may be light from a secondary source. Always best to diffuse light to remove glare off your images. What seems like nothing in a scope can be a strong glare in an image. The best way to test it see if you are getting a secondary light source is note the glare direction and then put your hand in a position to block the light. If you see it go away, then you can block it with something or even a facial tissue hanging in the direction the unwanted light path.

Just made a camera stand out of Tupperware because I read a milk jug it's a good diffuser plus it will give me steady pictures. Hopefully I'll have really good ones soon
