I don't remember what I bought this as, so here it is:

Image: Standing quarter /a obverse.jpg" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Grade-A-Standing-Liberty-Quarter? liberty Standing quarter obverse.jpg
41.33 KB

Image: Standing quarter /a reverse.jpg" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Grade-A-Standing-Liberty-Quarter? liberty Standing quarter reverse.jpg
37.78 KB

If there's wear, can you tell me where (no pun intended)? Thanks : )

It just so happens that I've been looking for a Type 1, so this is a great opportunity to see a beautiful example. I don't see any wear on the key spots: Obverse: breast, thigh, toes, date, and leading edge of the shield. Reverse: eagle's breast, wings, rim.

I won't hazard a guess as to exactly what MS value to give it, however.

Nice, very nice.

Pretty coin...Is that a light scratch on the reverse just under "Unum" and above the "E" or is it the photo? If its the photo then I'm in for MS 63

I'm not really sure. I looked at it under nice light, and I couldn't really see it at all either way. The photo quality is very, very high.

Without seeing really good macro shots, I think this would be limited to a 63-64 coin. It is really hard to see the complete details, but this looks to be one great coin. Maybe a scratch above QU? Regardless, that's a nice example. There is probably a large jump in pricing between all of these grades, so if you can get a little closer photo, it may help us narrow it down better for you.

MS64. I don't see any signs of wear, though these can be deceiving. I like the full shield strike. The toning on the reverse shouldn't affect the technical grade.
