The missing devices are from a struck through error of grease in the die. They happened at the time of the strike. Even part of the tree branches are missing.

Yes, but when the extreme happens and most of the devices are missing, collectors get interested.

i can see what your talking about, I noticed that all the bark lines on the
tree are missing as well.

I came across another coin with similar errors.

Here's one on ebay very similar to yours.Actually the seller has had it listed for almost 2 years now or close to it.He's looking for a big time sucker

yea, I have seen that on there for a long time.
I always thought it was a Photoshop job.
