Hello all , can anyone confirm these coins from Canada , the seller has these coins listed on his web site but I have yet to see them at the Canadian Mint web site . I am on the Canadian Mint master collector member list and have yet to see any of these coins offered or mentioned in any of the emails I have received from the mint and I am curious as to where her got them and if they are real or are coins that have been given extra treatment by others . Thanks for the assistance

They look like examples of post mint modified coins to me. There is a private mint in Germany that does a lot of this type of work. Gold plated and coloured versions of the wildlife SMLs for example.

They are the Royal Canadian Mint Bullion coins. A company out of Germany does the post plating and coloring. They give COA's and do it for lots of different countries bullion coins. The reason you don't see them on the RCM site is because RCM doesn't directly sell their bullion products. these post production coins are very collectible and legit have a huge demand. The 25th Annv. one you showed has a low mintage of 525 coins and it selling for $300+ on ebay right now. the four coin set you showed is new and should be rising in value very soon. One year they did a four coins set like that but did it for different season and they were even scratch and sniff!!

here are some examples

What does this do to the value of the original coin as I have some of these coins as they came from the mint ? Does this coloring by a third party add true value to the original coin or decrease value and render the coin a " conversation piece " ? I will admit some of the coins look very nice and would be something the Canadian Mint should consider contracting out to this company and then sell on their own site with a true value for the coin in either style . Thanks for your consideration of this topic .

Can't say I've ever seen/noticed any impact on the original coin values because of these types of modifications. I've mostly just paid attention to the wildlife series though. In that case the mintage was so high that the effect of taking 5,000 out and modifying them is negligible. The modified coins still seem to trade in the 2-4X price range of the unmodified ones. However the market for them is significantly smaller as most buyers can't afford to buy everything they want that the mint is putting out these days let alone adding post-mint variations into the mix.

Now thinking - can we trust to "525 minted"?

We even do not know, where the work (gold plating) has been done, just sure that "some German mint", but we all aware about 525 mintage.
What prevents from additional coins to be painted, if even there is no origin is mentioned?

So, I do not care about this statement, but I will care to check, before paying such big money for the coin.

If you have more info, or something specific, please share.
