There is a very limited number of these made. Mintage of only 525, but not available from the Royal Canadian Mint directly. They are only available from their bullion dealers. Beautiful coin... I managed to secure a few, as gifts for friends who collect this series. Probably one of my favourite SML issues, I hope it is equally as breathtaking in hand.

This is from the RCM press release,

"In keeping with a distribution model common to the world's major issuers of bullion coins, the Mint does not sell bullion directly to the public. Interested buyers are encouraged to contact a reputable bullion dealer to order this special limited edition 25th anniversary Silver Maple Leaf bullion coin, which will be available as of early December 2013."

NOTE: image is from a public source, but is copyright of the Royal Canadian Mint.

But this one was gilded by third party
according to "other site"...
I've seen couple of "combined listings" on ebay for regular anniversary SML and gilded one.

Very nice looking coin but sold our practically everywhere. Resellers are asking 2-3 times original price for it.

Will agree here.
But actually it's just a bullion. Maybe colorized version will come too?

No. According to the pictures, it bullion finish with frosted-gilded "25".

2014 Fractional set is Reverse Proof, or 2014 Horse Privy.

Interesting some dealers are offering a case with paperwork and others just the coin.

Yes...understand you, Yup7676

it nice, but artificially overpriced and more important for me - not gilded by RCM.
But to have the Anniversary edition (not gilded), ordered couple of coins, that sealed by RCM. The quality is the same, but they individually sealed.

@silver-

the thing I find interesting is how some dealers offer the gilded coin by itself, others with a box and like small booklet

The ones with a sm COA are the ones done by a German company is my guess. I say this because my color wildlife series came with a case and COA. This could be a possibility. I like the ones where the leaf is gilded and the 25 is plain.
