I don't dabble in coins like this one, but in my opinion the obverse is harshly cleaned and I'd put the value at just around $100. If you are inferring that the coin might be fake; that I can't tell, I'm sure those here who know more about Trade dollars will chime in with more knowledgeable viewpoints.

Looks like it has been through an industrial buffer. People usually do that to hide fakes or flaws. Though nothing immediately says fake.
