So, long story short, I recently acquired a roll of BU 1960-P dimes. I'm not trying to build a silver dime collection, so they're not going to be a permanent addition to my collection. I know silver has been fairly low for the past few months and I'm not in a hurry to sell these, but I heard a member on here mention that the ebay market for BU rolls of silver coins is in a sort of bubble at the moment. I've been tracking bids online, and similar rolls seem to go for $150-250 final bid (if anyone bids on them). So, should I: 1. Sell them now on ebay2. Hold them until silver reaches ~$35-40 an ounce again, or 3. Get my posts up and sell them to one of you guys Oh, and I know you guys are crazy about pictures (sorry for the pic quality; too lazy to take my camera off of auto):

If you aren't looking to collect them and you can get $150+ for the roll I would think it would be a good idea to sell them now. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Waiting for silver to get back to $30-$40/oz. could be a long wait. Of course, a lot depend on what you paid for them and the such but that is my Two Cents worth.

I would do option three. I might want one but not a whole roll. I cannot understand why some people collect by rolls.

If you can really get that much, sell it and buy more silver

I agree, silver BU Roosies are gorgeous. If you don't need the cash a sale would bring, I'd keep them.

I'd say sell. I too used to keep rolls and rolls of UNC coins. Eventually ended up with boxes full of them. yes they are worth a bit but the way I now look at it is I'd rather have coins in an Album so you can see them. In those rolls, all you see is the edge.

If you can sell them for two or three times what they're worth then do it as soon as possible. These are bullion coins worth their melt value to most people. P.S. Here's BU rolls of Roosies for sale at $85/roll: http://www.providentmetals.com/5-fa...r-dimes.html
