I grade G06 or so ... most VG08 coins have a full rim and there is no doubt the obverse legends on your example have worn into the rim. There is something about these 'lowballs' that has always appealed to me ... wish I could put them to my ear and listen to their story. Seems to be very difficult. PCGS has 2 for the entire series right now and interestedly enough neither are War Nickels. One is a 53 S and the other a 64 P. If fairness though it doesn't seem like people have really started chasing them from the population report so far. Report this Post to the Staff
