chequer Pillar of the Community Canada 4227 Posts	Posted 02/06/2014 10:47 am I got this Newf dime in an ebay auction - sometimes I can't seem to resist Newfoundland coins - and figured $7 shipped was okay. I was surprised when it showed up in what looks like the insert to an ICCS flip. The insert has a small split at the bottom, like seen in many of the flips, but not large enough for the coin to come out. I wonder if the seller removed it from the flip or someone else? I thought it may be from an old holder, but I just looked at a few I have and they all have the serrated edges, whereas this is smooth-sealed. Is there a dealer that seals them like this, I wonder?
