Is it allowed to post local coin show information, or is coin show information for large shows all that we can post? If so, where? I found a coin show section, but at the moment it is only for the Fun Show in Orlando. I would think the next large show for Canada and Australia are somewhere, and I could check there if local shows are part of that discussion.

It's the Numismatic Calendar forum.

But to answer your question I'm sure you can post information about local shows in the Numismatic Calendar Forum.

Quote: It's the Numismatic Calendar forum. I well know how you feel. I too can not find a place called coin shows. Yes old ones, but you'ld think there would be something called new coin shows, not Numismatic Calendar. And I too have trouble finding that. Not sure why we need past coin shows and not present or future ones in the opening area.

Jbuck: Your missing the point. Yes you know where it is, many others know where it is, however, new people see OLD SHOWS. As an opening type forum, why not just say COIN SHOWS? Then Sub Forums like Old, present, future, or something like that. Why should new members have to search for new shows. Why not all in must one place.

I do not see how the purpose of that forum could possibly be any clearer to anyone who's actually reading the words on the page. And we can't help the people who are paying such peripheral attention to what they're clicking to miss it. Just how much detail do we have to include in the descriptions? Quote: Please post US and World upcoming shows, product release dates, and any other numismatic events here using the event calendar. This is unequivocal. With that said, I'm going to ask Bobby to append to the title of "Past Coin Shows," for something like "Past Coin Shows CCF has attended." Just for people who become fixated on that as the only location where CCF discusses coin shows.

When shows are posted as an event in the Numismatic Calendar forum they show in the Event Calendar. Click the link on the left that says Numismatic Event Calendar.

Click on the calendar link, you will see two upcoming shows listed for this month. That is, they are in the future, not old. If you know of any shows not listed, you are more than welcome to add them.

Just make sure you choose "New Event" not "New Topic"

Thanks, I just added an April show. It seems like local club members would promote shows in this forum. Even if you do not have the address, many are in the ANA Numismatist publication, so finding missing information would be easy.

Seeing this subject, I may have to start posting the coin shows that are local to me.
