Whenever I walk through the halls of my schools, I'm looking at the ground for change, some people think I'm crazy. The other day I found a dime, and I looked at it more in depth today, and I noticed the rim was off at 10-12 o'clock.

I am not certain, but I think it's a Cud on the rim, and you can see a very small something on the reverse in the same area.

Could you guys help me on this one!? Has me fooled!

And also, the obverse is not copper colored, My USB microscope picked it up like that.

I'm going to get better pictures tomorrow.

What does the edge look like? Looks like a very minor MAD as of now.For sure not a Cud.

The edges are the same as any other Roosevelt dime. The area in question is also a little raised. That's why I'm curious. I will post better pictures.

The raised part that goes above the rim is a collar (third die)issue.Sometimes it is referred to as "rim fining"
