Hi all

so I found this coin in my parents collection

1977d Kennedy half dollar

I did the ice test the match test

match test (( black stain lest on the half dollar ))

ice test (( became very cold fast ))

don't know

how much would a 1977d 40% silver clad Kennedy half dollar weigh

to CCF.11.5g. Try the tissue test. If it is real it is worth a lot.Good luck.

I've heard that match test is bogus and will stain non-silver as well. Plus you've probably hurt the value of the coin trying to remove the black stain.
