Sets off alarm bells for me. It looks like a seam on the edge too. I wouldnt touch it with a barge pole. Style and fabric looks a little off too.

1. It's fake.

2. There is no 'Megapolis'. There is a Megalopolis, Arkadia, Arkadian League.

3. It's fake.

4. If it were real, it would sell for six figures x 2-3.

5. It's fake.

Here's what it is imitating:

Coin-I-Am-Bidding-On,-Opinions-Please
from CNG, http://cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=230509
Sold on 5/14/13 for ~$245,000 USD + buyers fee

Here's another, also from CNG archives:
Coin-I-Am-Bidding-On,-Opinions-Please

Sold on 6/3/2012 for ~$334,000 US + buyers fee.

That thing was made by a fisherman, because it is alllll cast. Remove your bid and let ebay know right away someone is selling a fake and not labeled. They will take care of it.

By the way, from what TIF says, I think that she might be just a little suspicious of this one :)

That's interesting, Dwayne. It is the exact same 'coin'. Does that mean the previous buyer returned it? I wonder why the buyer didn't report it as fake?

Maybe someone should check out some of the seller's other listings to see if this is just the mistake of a seller who doesn't know better (doubtful) or just another seller who needs to be booted off.

Definitely the same coin. Let's hope you are outbid. I have bought stuff from him in the past that was OK but I am a bit wary of some of his stuff.

Might be good if I win it PP. Nothing like ripping off someone with the serious means to do something about it.
Seriously, why would he list it again, as genuine? He needs a lifetime ban from every auction site ever.... oh, and made to eat nothing but dry cornflakes for the next 5 years.
