Lamination or De-lamination? Can anyone tell me at what point does the flap fold over? Also how should I label the 2X2 flip. Thanks

I believe the coin "Delaminates" but it is called a "Lamination Error". I think that is a great example of one. Did you find it CRH?

I picked it up off ebay for less than 5 bucks.Condition is a little rough but it's a great example.I'm really drawn to these type errors you can see without a loop.

Fold over lamination. Nice find. The lamination was originally struck flat and in time or with assistance it was folded over.

I agree fully with the findings BUT for the sake of arguement the only part of the coin that doesn't fit in is the misplace window.. Hypothetically if ya folded the piece back over where would that window fall?

I wish I could make out what is stamped into the for lack of a better term.."flap" I'm using a ipad 2 and to me it almost appears as this piece has mirror image of a date and the square could be the. ..and I'm reaching here where the say d mint mark was popped into the previous coin and then it was smunched onto this coin? I dont know hard to tell but if the flap folded over it seems as tho the window would be between the building and you of United "cellar door" :)

The supposed window is the base of the building.
