Hello guys,
I have recently bought a membership in NGC so I can submit coins directly to them, as there are no coin shops or dealers willing to do this in my country.
I have a quick question, when choosing the form for sending to NGC, which form should I choose if I want to grade an ancient coin?
Also, another question, NGC does not certify ancient islamic coins, like Umayyad and Abbasid?

For the Islamic coins, I mean copper and silver, not gold.

I can't answer the submission question, but I can answer the other one. From the NGC page on coins they will grade, they list ancients (pre-AD 500), anything in the Krause catalogues (1601-present). In between, they only do European (roughly 1300-1600) and Byzantine. Early Islamic are not included.

You should also be aware that NGC only guarantees the grade of an ancient. They do not guarantee authenticity or identification/attribution.

NGC is good at not actually guaranteeing much once you get done reading the fine print.

Do you guys know any TPG companies that would grade and slab Islamic Umayyad and Abbasid coins.
I have many silver ones I need them to be slabbed.
Any answer would be greatly appreciated

Just wondering why you want them slabbed Pheroow? If for protection, you can buy your own slabs or equivalent. For identification, I'd have thought that for a specialised area it's better to do your own homework. Particularly if the TPGS won't attribute them.

And for selling, I'd have thought that, as with most ancients most collectors are happy to buy raw, since grading hand made coins is far more subjective than for more regular machine made ones.
