Hi so I'm pretty new to coin collecting and I bought a lot on ebay and in that lot were about 8 graded pennies from INB. On one of the slabs I noticed it said 1963-d penny uncirculated but when I looked at the coin it was a 1964-d penny. So I'm not sure what to do if anything . Is this a usual occurance or is it rare ? Please help I attached a pic

I don't understand why anyone (not you) would pay to put a modern Lincoln Cent with a value of $10 at the most in a bulky slab that doesn't even have a numerical grade. What a waste of plastic. I understand you got this as part of a collection, but if I acquired the coin, I would break it out of the slab and put it in a flip just so it took up less space.

I hope you keep up with coin collecting, but beware of buying hyped-up coins. "Certified" coins from fly-by-night certification companies are not respected, and are difficult to sell when you decide to do so.

INB is a SSS (Shameless Self Slabber).
Ignore them (unless you decide to collect slabs, not coins).

It's worth less in that disreputable plastic than it is raw. And if a basement slabber like INB won't call the coin MS66 or better, it can't be worth a premium. MS65 for this one doesn't justify the cost of slabbing.

The slab means nothing ....... it means nothing to the coin, it means nothing to value of the coin. If you just want to keep the coin safe, then keep it in the slab. If you have an album, crack it out of the slab and put it in the album without any worries that you are lessening the value of this $.25 coin

And to the community
