I was thinking about picking up the 2012 Charlton (Vol One - Numismatic Issues) because I'm always interested in information on Canadian dollars, and it's supposed to have 60 pages devoted to dollar varieties. But I'm wondering if others thought it was worth it, or mostly just a bunch of double HPs that we already know about?

One of the poorest of Charlton's variety features IMO, unless your one of the four people who like JOP dollars.

FYI I already have the 2014 and 2005 catalogs. Not interested in JOP although it is an interesting story. BTW the 2012 would be about $14 shipped.

I still use it. Useful for the old ICCS graded ones that just say Rev 007 or whatever in the comments.

I have the 18th edition of Charltons printed in 1970

And another one a 1st edition, 1959-1960, of A Guide Book of Canadian Coins, Currency and Tokens
printed by Canadian Numismatic Publishing Institute of Winnepeg Ca.

Good illustrations, but 1958 is the newest coins. Lots of token info from 1700 on.
I got these after I started collecting from my paper route in Iowa when we would get alot of Canadian money in change
