shanew Pillar of the Community Australia 1041 Posts	Posted 02/15/2014 01:52 am now this coin is very hard for me as I don't have many books and the main thing is a magnet stuck to it and its very rusty it has been in a decomposed pvc folder that was flooded any idea this is the best picture I can do I only think it us as it has a eagle its weigh is about 18.9 grams 37.8mm * Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. * Report this Post to the Staff

nuggethill Pillar of the Community Australia 1015 Posts	Posted 02/15/2014 02:23 am I think it's a real mexican peso and I think It's a KM # 408.5 Mexico City peso,just after peso you will find the mint mark to me it looks like Mo C which is Mexico City date looks to be 1870 weight 27.0730g,silver comp 0.9030 silver or .7860oz hope this help. oh P.S. the eagle has rounded wing in the description which would be the same as the coin you have.
