Well, you can see the light wear from my photo's. Please take note that I used sunlight so any marks stand right out. Any by the way, just got it today :)   |

@Superdave, same thing I said. Well I bought it because I wanted a rare coin. The luster wasn't shown in the sunlight picture. That's what you get when you spent two minutes taking the pictures... You don't need to lie, they're junk, lol. Here's under my light and 5 minutes of trying to get the right shots:   |

@Largecents, thanks, I like it too but just that mark on the back isn't nice.
So not many people comment on it. I was wondering if is was worth the 327 I spent. The mark on the back under the F in half really stands out.
I was thinking of returning it because the seller used junky pictures to hide it.

I think it's a nice coin solotime. I did the mark under the F you mention, but I didn't pick it up right away.
I don't know value-wise what a coin like this is worth, so I won't comment on the price you paid.

But be prepared to have to hand buff it for a while if its bad. Also put just a dab on the cloth instead of slathering it on the slab and then what you start wiping realize you just put 10 times to much. The worse it is the more times youll have to do it but it can make a noticeable difference. Or if youre a PCGS member and theyre PCGS slabs you could just take advantage of their current 5 dollar reholder special and skip all the buffing  |

@Bluegrass, Not sure how Basebal does his but I use a headlight restorer. It will shine the slab and fill in any scratches. I forgot to say, the slab did in fact have scratches on the front. One was a deep one and worried me. You must use something like 100% cotton so it won't scratch the slab up! Here's the stuff I bought http://www.walmart.com/ip/Meguiar-s...ish/16550253Just apply some on the slab rub it around till it starts drying up then wipe it off with a clean part of the cloth. Works fine every time for me. Just somethings you can't remove because it's damaged so bad. If the first try din't work, go for a second round. You should have seen the Barber dime slab I restored. It was so bad I didn't think it would work. |
