Pretty sure this is just worn and PMD, but the size is still odd. It is clearly thinner and although by only a small amount, the circumference is smaller; it weighs 2.4 grams. Any thoughts?

Acid dipped coin. Back in the fifty's & sixty's kid would acid dip,Scrape them on the pavement,Grind them etc, etc, anything to reduce them to the size of a dime so they could use them in a ten cent vending machine

That was my first thought...acid...even reduction of thickness and details tell the story.
