I know the pictures don't do it justice, but according to the pictures what grade do you think this Wheat penny is? I think PCGS would slab it at an MS65 RD ! DOES ANYONE ELSE THINK THE COIN HAS BEEN CLEANED ?

Looks nice - hard to really tell from those pictures, the color is odd and I can't see the luster. This is a VERY tough date to find a coin struck that well. The 64/65 grades are rare. When I see a 25S like this raw I have to wonder why it's not already slabbed since they go from $4000-10,000 in 64/65 red.

My guess - 63 questionable color

I agree with Jayman. Something looks weird with the mint mark and date. The S looks really close to the 2.

I was just going to ask the same question. That wheat stalk has some funky tick like marks going up the right side and yeah, Jayman, I see that ring around the mint mark too.

Otherwise, it sure looks nice! I'd say Ms64 for me. The marks in the field in front of his head kinda distracts for me. There are other little dings too but it really is a nice coin.

with the above, I'd say MS-64. I didn't notice it at first but once I saw the comments, the mint mark and left wheat stalk do look strange. I'd take it to your LCS and have it checked out before submitting it.
