As far as this proof set goes, the nickel (the one with the Indian head labeled 10 cents

) is really nice with a great strike, no marks anywhere and no toning. The dime and quarter are also nice. I see no issues, other than a little toning, but they are not quite as striking as the nickel. The cent has some uneven toning and a spot, though luckily I have a spare 1937 proof cent. The half has some uneven toning on the obverse but good strike on lady liberty. The obverse seems to have used a very polished down die as the rays and some lower elements are disappearing into the fields. The reverse of the half is a little bit cameo and has a very very light purplish/pink toning.
I was actually thinking of suggesting to General Moe that a neat days-of thread would "proofs and patterns". This would probably be better as 1 day = 1 decade, like the gold was and run from the earliest up through the early 1940's or so. This would be a fun way to see some neat coins......
