So I have had decent luck with V nickels over my 30 box career(1 in 15 boxes, including one that was 1889 I think, along with a buff in every other box and almost 2 silver nickels per box)

But....

I just pulled 4 out of one box, putting me up to 6!
And--- the box had 3 silvers too!

Not much for errors though.

Here is a pic, along with my previous week's box (1 Buff, 1 silver, a new foreign, 1960 Bar Nickel, and a medium lamination error)

Wow--4-V-Nickels-In-1-Box!

I hope someone did not lose part of their collection. I will be an optimist... they were "spent" to inspire a new generation.

Thanks all.

The foreign (I dont remember where-- Dominican?) is only from the 80's.

The V's are 1905x2, 1906, and 1908 if I remember correctly

Nice box. My record for V's in a box is 46. That was a lot of fun. :)

Thanks all!

Yooper, the bar one is similar to the BIE cents. Just has several die chips over several letters and parts of the date, common enough to have its own name (like BIE, speared buffalo, cracked skull, etc), but not a true 'error'. I just like them :)
