So the thread jacking doesn't continue on NoD. Here is my other 1822 CBQ. I'm calling it G-6. After looking at GERMANICVS, I think his deserves a VG-10. Mine is a lot more flat.

A lot closer to VG-8 than G-6 IMO.

I actually have it labeled VG, but I always thought that was a bit generous. I'll take full VG!

I tend to agree the obverse is probably slight short of a full VG8. No matter, it is an appealing and original coin.

No! NoD, you weren't doing anything wrong!! Thread jacking is when someone (me in this case) makes posts on someone else's thread that may conflict with their "discussion". Some people are sensitive about this. I didn't want to keep on posting pics of my coins on a thread you started. Can be considered rude.

Sorry jpbone. Thanks for the education. As far as I'm concerned you can thread jack me anytime, especially when you're post your CBQs! I'll keep the concept in mind though, I have been posting a lot of stuff. I'll slow down a bit.

I don't mean to get all oprah on everybody, but this forum is fantastic.

NoD, let me clarify a little further, because I don't want you to slow down on posting your coins (and I don't think anyone else does either). I was simply trying be considerate by starting my own thread instead of continuing to post pics of my coins on your thread. I agree, it doesn't bother me when people do that on my threads either. Please! Post away! I've come to look foreward to the coins you post. No such thing as to many CBQs! Have a great day!
