Found this in some change today. Looks like Struck Through Grease. The motto and the mint mark seem to be the only things that were affected by it. My question is, is it worth keeping or should it go back into circ? Thanks for your time.

Surely someone will appreciate the philosophical-sounding motto.

It's not worth much, but it is pretty neat. I'd keep it.

I did the same thing when I started collecting. Kept nything that looked different to me or neat. Most people never even look at US coins up close. When they do they find all sorts of things that look different cause they do not know what they are looking at. I have a bucket of "pretty neat" coins worth face value. lol...soon you will get more picky at what you keep :) If ya keep looking you will find REALLY NEAT coins! And you will know it when you see it. Happy Hunting!

Greaser but fun to show around. One of my favorite greasers shown here was a Buff missing the 'iv' from five on the reverse. A helpful CCFer quickly ordered it an IV, stat!
