***Update*** Okay so I added a dark background. I only scanned the back of the 1970-s. There are still what looks to be something around the letters just as it does with the white background. But now if what looked liked DD on lets say the left side of a letter when I scanned it with the white background. Well its now on the right side with the dark background. Confused. 100's other coins are not showing lines or looking like double die or some kind of error, Just these 2 coins.

I am new just like a lot of people are or used to be.

Last night I scanned a few coins and I think I may be seeing extra lines or maybe someone can explain it better to me.

These were scanned in at 1200 DPI.

First 2 pics are a 1970 s penny front and back and the next two are a 1960 penny.

Am I seeing extra lines that could make these coins more unique or am I doing something wrong ?

So far the images don't help much. Next time you scan try putting a piece of dark fabric over the coin. That will help cut the glare off the white lid. But I'm not sure what you are calling white lines?

Coop, you say "send me your address and I will send you a DVD."
Would you send me one of those DVDs please? The Media Player one would be nice.
Is it a physical DVD or an 'e' DVD? Do you need my postal address or just an email address?
Thanks

It is a physical DVD/Medial player disk. But how would I send it to the land down under? That is the first time for me to send one there.
