What a rush, I thought it was an Error ( How could this happen ) thing, and then after realized it was a NCLT.
A shame that there is only 3 spec's of Blue
and 1 spec of Red Paint on it.
The coin is a little larger than a circulation coin
but is the same weight.
That's the last of the Goldie's
back to the Nickle.

Nice find, looks like it has been circulating for awhile. I'm surprised that no one had removed it from circulation when it did have colour on it

My heart actually skipped a beat with my first look at it.

Does the raised edging (can't think of the term for it) count as an error type?

I know of them as Misaligned die (MAD) errors Awildeheart.

Oddly enough I usually keep ones where the is a significant misalignment, not that I think they're really worth any more than a normal coin, but I like them.

That is actually a circulated proof coin.
The left hand coin is what it looked like originally .
