I see a normal circulated 1957-D cent with a die chip on the "9". The 1968-D has the post that would have formed the center of the mint mark broken off. Both are common coins.
Thanks Coop, so the filled letters and numbers are die chips, the date is doubled but scanner not diving it justice. I get my first usb microscope tomorrow so hopefully I can take better photos. BTW I would love a your copy of educational dvd I will send you my info once I reach enough posts to do so.
