Can you explain why it IS a fake so the rest of us know?

Even the reverse doubled image is 180 degrees off. Not dots on the VDB. Wrong mint mark shape and no known locations for the mint mark for that issue.

Thanks DrDon for that link. Mint mark is clearly too high and to the left. No to take the thread sideways, but here's one he recently sold. This one looks better as far as the mint mark is concerned, but the B in VDB looks odd to me...kinda hard to see though.

edweather, that one's easier to compare to the 4 mintmark positions.
There's no S-VDB with the S that low and to the left of the "0". Also, check out the shape of the date!
So the general consensus is the whole double-struck coin is fake? Maybe that's why the seller never got it slabbed

The last time I looked it had been bid up to $1300 with more than a day left.
Now it says "This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available."
I e-mailed ebay yesterday about it but have not heard back.
