Few 2014 5c coins day after day in the local Starbucks in the Toronto.

But recently, found in the change 2010 quarter, that not shiny like a mirror, but has kind of "proof-like" surface.

I have a nice 2014 quarter from a couple of weeks ago, and from a human-wrapped roll too! It goes to my nice steel coins collection.
I also received a 2014 Lucky Loonie in early March in my change. A few scratches here and there but otherwise shiny all over.

2014. It's already been two years since the elimination of the penny!

The Lucky Loonie has been out there since Feb. but I have not seen a "regular" 2014 $1 coin yet.

I have found 2014 coins to be about as abundant as the 2013 penny.

I found another 2014 quarter in a roll, and 2 dimes looking through a friend's change. I haven't seen loonies and toonies dated 2014 except for the lucky loonie too.

Why do people get so ticked off when you ask to look through their pocket change? Don't they know how hard it is to find 2014 (or even 2013) coins? Have they no consideration!!

My friends let me look through their change most of the time I ask. They do think I'm a bit of a looney for doing that, but they have no other objections whatsoever. Two even willingly keeps change that is not normal looking for me (always great to have someone on your side!).

I have not found any 2014 coins until today. I have been especially looking to find a 2014 nickel as that is the only series I am continuing to date. I just now left my office and walked across the parking lot to buy a sandwich. There on the sidewalk was nickel. I bent down, picked it up and lo & behold it was a 2014. Looks like it just came from a new coin roll! What are the odds?
