I've never held a rippled coin, so not sure. I don't believe it is, but could it be something else? Entire coin Struck Through Grease, Dryer Coin? I leaning away from an acid bath as the deepest recesses (in the crown, by the leaves) are untouched.
No, it's not a rippled coin. It looks like it was damaged somehow. Rippled coins look like they have waves on them, usually going the same way, some are a little different.
