I got this 1963 with what I believe to be multiple clip errors.

I am new to coin collecting and finding errors I find this to be very fun unfortunately because I am new at this a bunch I think are some end up being nothing.

But I must say even then this board has been great to point that out so I know for future searches.

The "clips" don't look clean. Maybe someone held this coin against a rotary metal grinder. Can you show edge-angle closeups of the so-called "clipped" edges?

Its a genuine double clip. The weak rims opposite the larger clips are what is called the Blakesely effect.

Thanks ErrorCoins222, great info IT ALSO made for fun reading when I looked it up...

And now I know what the "Blakesley effect" so basically when ever there is a clip is involved, in alot them, the rim opposite the clip will be flatten and poorly formed. This effect is known as the "Blakesley effect" and occurs due to the lack of pressure in that area during the upset (or rimming) process.

Sometimes clips can be double errors.
