They are shipping them separately and mine is on the way.
Not posted for excitement purposes...just for info.

I got a notice that my bag shipped separately from my order and I was charged $4.95. The main order better not have any shipping on it.

I agree, there better not be an additional shipping charge. I didn't order the bag to begin with therefore I shouldn't have to pay anything for it.

When the Mint partially ships an order they always add the shipping to the first part shipped. When the other parts are shipped there is no additional cost added
It's been like that forever....

I concur. I last had an order split apart in 2009. There was no shipping charged on the second part.

Hooray, a bag. I'm not sure I like where the U.S. Mint's marketing is going these days. They should put that time, effort, and money into their products, not chintzy marketing gimmicks. I'm not knocking you, Foxwoods. It's not like you had a choice!

Correct...I did not make my purchase because of an included free bag. I have no clue what to do with it.
I would rather have had free shipping instead

Nothing like announcing you buy coins from the Mint.
Whose to say that some dishonest person won't follow you home after watching you use the bag at the supermarket? In my area, you have to bring your own bags to the market, otherwise you are charged $0.10 per brown paper bag to load your purchase.
I'd rather have Free Shipping too.

@welder, same here. Non-reusable plastic bags are banned for businesses within city limits (except for carry-out restaurants and delivery). I have reusable bags but forget 50% of the time to take them into the store with me, so now my pantry is overflowing with heavy paper and plastic bags that I've probably paid a dime apiece for.
And yes, free shipping would be much better, and not just limited to the web site.
