I found two 1964 D pennies tonight. (Sorry no scanner.) And on one the mint mark was way closer to the 9 than on the other coin. I looked in the Red Book and didn't see anything. Is this well known?

Since the Mint marks were added by hand to the die, locations can vary a little ,,its normal .

Hey I'm really new to this so this might be a dumb question. But is a 1964 Penney with no mint mark worth anything?

That just means it is from the Philadelphia mint.
