I can't tell but it looks like it might be a 1937-S DDO.

Either way was a $5 pickup

I keep on getting Double Dies, Mechanical Doubling, Die Deterioration Doubling and Abrasion Doubling all mixed up.

I'd say 99% it a class 6 DDO. Try to match it up with one of these:

http://www.coppercoins.com/advsearch.php

Dies 001-004 are all class 6, but there are no marker photos for 003. Can you get a straight close up of the date with the mint mark. If so I bet Coop can overlay it and tell you. The mint mark positions are pretty close & I can't overlay on my phone.
