Guess The Emperor (We Have A Winner)

For the last couple of weeks I have been thinking of changing my avatar. I have looked over countless coins trying to come up with a new image. I have always been fascinated with Roman and early American history. So today I decided to combine my interests in Roman and early American history and have a contest.

The idea of this contest is simple, all you have to do is guess what Roman Emperor I chose for my avatar. Remember the Roman Empire ended in 476 A.D., so any emperor from the Eastern Roman/Byzantine empire, does not count. It could be an emperor that reigned for over 30 years or one who ruled for 30 days.

Now here comes the part where I combine Early American History to this contest. The person who guesses the correct emperor is going to get an uncirculated 2007 Jamestown Commemorative Silver Dollar. I felt this prize was appropriate since 2007 is the 400th anniversary of the founding of Jamestown, V.A.

The rules for this contest are simple.

1. Only one guess per person. If after 2 weeks (July 29, 2007 10:00 pm EST) no one guesses the correct answer then everyone gets a second guess.

2. You must have 50 or more posts at the time of your guess, in order to participate.
