I was going to buy the 2013 silver limited edition set anyway, so I ordered it online and qualified for the current bag offering. I was curious to see if the mint had anything in it that was not advertised like a proof coin (anything) or a coupon or something! so I got a box in the mail yesterday and I as excited because I thought they shipped the silver set early. well I opened it and they shipped the bag seperate which is what I received. the bag is empty am I surprised? no - I didn't think they would do unadvertised business. however, I am surprised that this offering is for, truely, a reusable bag. I would rather get a free gas station cookie then have this flimsy bag that is probably going to rip if I stick anything over 3 lbs in it. Wow HORRIBLE! 1

Once again the voice of my Dad rings in my ears... "Nothing in this world is free."

I'm hoping to place an order to the Mint later this year and hope they still have the "free" available when I do. Not sure what I will do with it. Maybe it will be a "limited addition" and become collectable. Wouldn't that be something!!

Was there a label on or inside the bag stating it was "Made In China?"

I hope the bag was made in the U.S. It wouldn't be very PR if made elsewhere.

That's a good question, where was the bag made?

Did you have to pay "Seperate shipping and processing" like all of those "act now and we will double the offer" infomercial deals?
I wonder how much it cost them to ship it all by itself?
Honda does that kind of stuff all the time at work.
They will Fed Ex 2 day a 12 cent washer all by itself because it wasn't in stock at the time they filled the rest of the parts order.

I got mine as well. Nicely printed U.S. Mint logo, but really poor quality material. And no, I didn't have to pay extra for the shipping. I really have no idea what to do with it, to be honest. I mean, do I really want to take it grocery shopping and advertise to a bunch of strangers that I shop at the U.S. Mint?

I will take it, it looks cool. I have been grocery shopping for 40 years, can't ever remember reading what is on somebody's shopping bag

If it's sturdy enough you could use it for hauling rolls of coins(boxes) back and forth to the bank. I use cloth reusable grocery bags to pick up my weekly boxes for roll hunting.

Well, the long awaited prize arrived...all folded up. It has a cheezy plastic outer layer and a fabric inner lining. Not as nice as my supermarket bags...and... Quote: Was there a label on or inside the bag stating it was "Made In China?" Of course it would HAVE to be made in the USA...I mean it's the freakin US Mint....ummmmm " Made in Vietnam " maybe a pic to follow later after I get all the folds and creases out...it would never grade a 2014 (V) B70 FS so I'll keep it raw
