Posted this in the varieties and errors section and got no responses, so I thought I would try it here if thats appropriate. Thought the Ike fans might enjoy. My first for both of these. The hairlip is visible with the naked eye. Both appear to be Grade A according to the Ike Group site. Opinions? Thanks!

Where can I find a list of the Ike errors? The ikegroup site tells you what the errors are, but I don't see them listed by year. For instance, what years can you find the hair lip and you errors?

...and just FYI....it is Harelip, like the rabbit, not hairlip, though even the correct term is becoming politically incorrect. A public service announcement from Unholyroller

Technically, an error can occur any year. The Ike Group Varieties List has the year they occur. Also, their price guide lists all attributions by year.

The Ike Group shows it as Hair Lip.

If the Ike group uses the term in reference to the medical condition then it is "hare". If it is their own term, then use whatever you like. :-)

Oh, I understand now. I had to look up "harelip."

The error name is in reference to "hair" hanging outward from the bottom lip. It is not a reference to a cleft lip.

We have two threads going on here. This is my fault for not paying closer attention. We should move to the proper V/E thread where Coop has posted his usual excellent images...
