Hi, I am wondering if anyone knows where I can buy the regular (non-Proof) 2014 $5 1 oz Peregrine Falcon coin. All the coin stores in Canada only sell the Proof version for $89.95. I've seen the regular uncirculated version for sale at various bullion stores in the US for about $25-27 (unfortunately they either don't send to Canada or their shipping is too much). I have also seen them being sold at bullion stores in Europe for about 22-23 Euros but again they either don't send to Canada or their shipping is too much. So I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can find the regular uncirculated version of this coin for sale in Canada or the US with reasonable shipping fees? Thanks for your help!

Thank you but yes, shipping is $25. They say Free shipping "on orders of numismatic items over $390" but I doubt these would be considered numismatic items since they're bullion.

ebay full of them. I posted in the March topic url to one of the listings. $35 with free shipping (Canada). Haven't decided yet for myself do I need this new series. Probably not. Recent Eagle series and $100 Eagle - probably enough for me

I bought maples from gatewest before. Pretty simple and easy, you just call them and tell them what you want. Shipping is pretty cheap at 6.50 or around there. Just add a few items you want to spread out the cost. If paying by visa they will charge you small fee to cover their side. If buying in large amounts then I'd rather look for something local as shipping can add up with insurance. You could always try kijiji as well, you never know you might find someone in your area.

Thanks for your help. Since there aren't any coin/bullion stores where I live I will probably wait to see if Colonial Acres gets them and I could just include a couple with a future order or maybe Silvertowne since they have free shipping on Canadian bullion... If they won't get them I'll probably buy one from ebay.

I would try APMEX.com or APMEX runs a store on ebay. I know they have those on their website

Sorry, I wrote too soon APMEX will only ship to Canada if your order is $250 or above.

Well, as CC-Ottawa has pointed out, Gatewest has them. And I'm becoming very tempted. I was able to resist the siren calls of the Proof version--89.95 certainly stiffens my resolve! My only puzzlement is that Gatewest doesn't have a price range listed. I appreciate bullion fluctuates, but some places (J and M, for example) at least say an average.

A store could simply state their premium, either $ or %.
Then everyone could calculate a reasonably close price, barring any major drops in bullion.

... gas stations should do that too, then we'll know how much they are gouging us.
