Okay, I have asked Bobby this by talking to him and nothing's been done, so I guess I can only communicate with him via email or the forum...  It would be nice if the Active Users list was alphabetical. Can this be done with minimal effort? |

I've been trying to figure out why the order is the way it is and it baffles me to no end. My name could be at the front, middle, or end.

I believe it lists you in the order of active minutes, the longer you've been online, minute wise, the closert to the beggining of the list, if you just arrived, then you're plaed at the end of the line. As far as alphabetizing it, I am unsure, I've never thought about changing it on my website so wouldn't know, but I shall look.

I thought that too but if I log out and login again....no change. And I never log out either unless my computer is off.

it keeps yuour session alive for "X" amount of time so if you logout and log right back in there no change, it could be set to any amount of time desired by the admin  |

Hey if you can get the names alphabetized that'd be great. I also think having you 2 and the mods names at the beginning would make it a bit easier to see who is on if we have specific questions or concerns.
Just a thought

I purposely don't indicate staff members. Email is not the quickest way to get the Staff's attention, the report button is by far. If there is a report waiting to be dealt with it shows up in bold red letters to the staff at the top of every page until it's addressed. I could be eating my dinner and left my active topics page on auto-refresh, the forum will show me on-line, but I'm really not. I may not see your email for an hour and you'd think I'm ignoring you, but another staff member would probably see your report right away. I also do not want to make it easy to see that there is no staff on the forum at any given time.  |

Actually...it never bothered me where MY name was, but sometimes when it's busy, it was hard to find out if a particular member you were looking for was online.
At any rate, for us linear types, the list is alphabetical now! (Thanks, RUI!)
