Hey guys I found 2 tokens in my stash from 1863.

I dont know much about these. However I do know that there are various types of the same tokens.

Can someone help me out identify the type of those.

Oh than you that was quick :)

I looked it up and there are 2 types of the 6B/ 308.... 308A and B of which the B is a R9

Value wise what would you think these are worth

These are hard to estimate a value on, but I frequently browse and buy Civil War tokens on ebay. I also have the Civil War Tokens Red Book. The Fuld 164/312 could sell for $25 to $45 if lightly circulated (AU), and possibly for $40 to $70 if MS-63. The 6B/308a (probably not a B) also could be AU or uncirculated, but with some die/striking issues. I would estimate the same two price ranges for the second token as for the first, possibly a little higher for the second one if it is uncirculated. The key to presenting these as uncirculated, if you did want to sell them on ebay, would be to use lighting to capture the luster better.

the reference book and web site I use only shows the pairing of 6B and 308. It does show 6B/308a (R-4), but the lowercase a represents what metal was used, not different dies.
