Jerry, I agree with VF details, and the price seems about right for the quality.

I would advise being more patient and selective regarding quality. In addition to the scratches, the color of the reverse indicates cleaning to some extent.

A coin with these issues will tend to nag at the owner as time goes by, and buyers remorse may set in. A question I ask myself every time I'm contemplating a coin purchase is; would I have trouble selling this coin if I decide to do so? If the answer is yes, I don't buy it. Having the patience to sacrifice quantity for quality will result in a more satisfying collection faster than you think.

I agree that the coin has some issues. It is not for my collection as I will resell it locally to a coin shop. Sometimes I win sometimes I break about even. Just do it for the chance to maybe make a couple of bucks to help pay for the nicer coins that I do keep to collect.
