I live in Canada and I wouldn't buy that for anything over $220.

Did anyone miss that they recovered 110 TONS of silver?

Odyssey's latest dive brings the Florida-based company's total haul to 2,792 silver ingots weighing 110 US tons (99.8 metric tonnes) or nearly 3.2 million troy ounces found aboard the SS Gairsoppa which was torpedoed approximately 300 miles southwest of Ireland by a German U-boat in February 1941.

Interesting! But, it's still just Ag. With all the metal coming out of the deep these days, I don't know if the historical attachment will stand the test of time. I remember when I finally sold my One Troy Pound 1921 Morgan Bullion. I extolled the great quality of the oversized round and one of the guys interested told me that it was just silver. I didn't sell to him then, but I never did get any real premium for the things. I thought they we the neatest things I ever saw and every one else just saw Ag.

Good luck.

Yeah, I have a horrible feeling I'll run into the same attitude if I ever try to sell my ATB 5-ounce pucks or either of these beauties:

10-Oz-S.s.-Gairsoppa-Shipwreck-Certified-Silver-Bar 10-Oz-S.s.-Gairsoppa-Shipwreck-Certified-Silver-Bar

10-Oz-S.s.-Gairsoppa-Shipwreck-Certified-Silver-Bar 10-Oz-S.s.-Gairsoppa-Shipwreck-Certified-Silver-Bar 10-Oz-S.s.-Gairsoppa-Shipwreck-Certified-Silver-Bar

So, of course, my plan is to never sell them...

Yea, I can see that already IF I were to sell my somalian elephants.....

However, IF I was going to sell, I would wait and only sell to someone who appreciated those elephants.

There is a buyer for every seller.
