Well it's my first time someone with zero feedback bought from me.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/32134031819....m1559.l2649

But now I ran into a problem. They somehow got away without putting the streets name

I sent three messages asking but none replies and it's been awhile now.

He left his phone number so went to a website called whitepages and entered it. I got his streets name. So would it be safe to ship it now? Or wait till he replies if he ever does?

The item is going to be shipped inside a letter. I already got one of my dang items lost
But that's like out of 20.

Also, I always wonder if any people from CCF bought from me

I would wait till he responds thus confirming the address. Better to be safe than sorry.

If you are comfortable with the address you found you might as well ship it. The most you can lose is about 15 cents for the coin, 5 cents for the envelope and 49 cents for the postage..... (Along with the refund when he says he never got.)

I'll give him till tomorrow I guess. I need to mail out my other items someone bought from me.

Does ebay refund you when you give a refund? I know paypal does.
I'm just wondering because last night is when I had to refund the guy who's Buffalo got lost.

If you make a refund through PP they will portion the refund appropriately. Check your ebay account to see that you get your Final Value Fees refunded back to you, too. If you don't, you may have to do a mutual cancellation request to get your fees back.

The sooner you begin using Delivery Confirmation/Tracking the sooner you will see your incidents of "I didn't get my item" and lost mail go way down!

Good luck!

I'd like to be using tracking but it cost me 3.25 to mail a light package. So no one would want to buy from me if I was charging that high. I only ship with tracing if the items are ten or more.
As you see, the items I'm selling are low valued ones that I got for like 15 cents each.

It would be best to wait for him to respond. There's a lot of legroom for him to make a claim here. And on the part about buying from you, I definitely would but sadly I'm in Canada and the shipping would cost me.

I'm confused, I thought all US lettermail is tracked. I know first class international is tracked. It's how most of the coins I buy from the states are sent. When they hit Canada they get a Canadian tracking number. At least my mail does at any rate. I find US mail letter rates very reasonable.

Us lettered mail isn't tracked at all. Its literally just a stamp at the post office with the date accepted and then theres no way at all to figure out where it is at any given time during the trip.

Every label from ebay comes with free tracking and all priority/express/registered comes with tracking. But to track a letter itd have to be certified or signature confirmation.

You say you have their phone number? Can't you just call them? I sold an expensive coin a few months ago, and the buyer let it sit in the PO for several days........I finally just called them. Worked out well for me.

A one to three ounce USPS 1st Class Package, with Delivery Confirmation included, is still less than 2$ when the label is printed through ebay shipping. As weight is added, the rate goes up 'till you reach the 13 ounce max 1st Class Pkg rate of $3.47. Over 13 ounces you move in to Priority and the best deal then becomes the Priority Small Flat Box at $5.25. All include free delivery confirmation and Priority now includes $50 in "free" insurance.

I would wait for them to reply with their complete address. ebay would have to side with you if anything becomes of your shipping delay.

I would ask ebay what to do.

And my first sale by ebay was also to a zero feedback buyer and all was all right.

I got my buyer's phone number from ebay not the White Pages. They were the ones who suggested that I call them. Once a purchase is made by a buyer, the contact information becomes available.

OK, so you've followed their instructions, called and left several messages... next is to open a case and have ebay cancel the sale so you can relist.
