I have recently came across this 1907 Indian Head penny that I can't figure out exactly what has happened. I have done a lot of research without any success. Any help in this would be greatly appreciated and thanks for everyone's help in advance!

Yeah...it wasn't struck that way. An easy explanation would be it was laid across the track of a streetcar or train.

I was thinking it wasn't either, but I just wanted to make sure with me being somewhat of a novice at this. Thanks for y'all's help!
