I grew up, in the 50s and 60s, just a short bike ride from the Gorge. I fished, boated, and generally explored the area until I got my driver's license anyway. I wish I had been into metal detecting at the time!

Oh and my wife says I never grew up!

Victoria is a great place for old British coins , hammered and milled both. In our shop over the years we bought LOTS of these type of coins. This one is probably lost or stolen from a collection. It is pretty doubtful from Sir Francis Drake's voyages.
