Last minute bids are not usually shill bids, because those bids in the closing seconds are intended to win, not lose.
Shills hate to win, their goal is to be outbid so a smart shill places his bids early.
But then not all crooks are smart, they just THINK they are.

I actually bid on this lot about an hour ago  Only a low bid and the first bid was higher than mine. That first bidder has an "interesting" bid history. In past 30 days they bid on 615 items, 12% were with this seller. So about 70 items. They also cancelled bids on 30 items (1/day) and 264 in 6 months (10/week)  Looks like a shill.  |
