Hello, I would like your input on this 1952 s Jefferson nickel please. On the reverse the letter "C" in the word "AMERICA", is it Die Deterioration?

Hard to tell by your pic but looks like over polished die or Grease Filled Die.

Looks like it may have had a very small amount of grease blocking that very small device. Thus your coin didn't have the fill device in that location.
