Honestly, 10 shouldn't be difficult to acquire given the trend from the Candy Cane Glass coin release in December.

This will be way more popular than the candy cane. I think this is going to be another one of those mass hysteria causing coins. I'm guessing it will be first in a series.

It's even on sale. You save 50$ Probably either a dealer or more likely a Canada Post employee (or relative of one). Let the fun begin - welcome back flippers.

They don't appear to have the greatest feedback. Pre sales are so scary. You need lots of trust.

Oh, thats great - new coin comes.... I like this question - "How many and where to buy?" actually, it just a joke - I like how these coins are crafted, but do not need them in my collection. The one extra Glass Butterfly, that I bought accidentally (just to have a proof, that they were available for public at midnight), no one wanted to take for issue price I will raise a price - this way it will be more attractive.

The feedback is bad eh. Especially the comments about pre-sales going over 45 days and then no shipping of the item.
This should be an interesting new series but I don't see parallels to the ladybug. That coin was truly innovative, well done and had half the mintage of subsequent coins in the series. Still I don't see why it sells for so much other than most of the people who own it are collectors (not short term resellers) so they value it more and are less inclined to sell.
Looking forward to seeing the design as it could be very nice. As always, the devil will be in the details

I'm excited for this one as well. I hope the mintage isn't raised. I had 2 ladybugs, 1 for myself and 1 for my mother in law. When it hit close to $1000 I thought I'd be stupid not to sell. I only sold it because I knew there was a second one in the family,,, or I wouldn't have.

I wonder if this one will boost the sale price of the others?

Quote: I wonder if this one will boost the sale price of the others? I think - will not. The people will "be crazy" about the new one, since it will be sold-out at the Mint too quick - dealers and MC... Everyone, who new about the series, already bought the previous coins. And the new collectors - first will try to catch the most recent coin, and then, slowly will look for the earlier ones.

Seems he sold two already. I would laugh if the mint pushed back the release like they sometimes do. I thinking buying a pre sale is less dangerous then selling a pre sale. You can always claim within 45 days. I have no idea why that buyer didn't make a claim the day before.

Hey, I like this new one! Anyone know what the pink flower is? Very cool! Hope the price and mintage is the same as the butterfly coin.

Looks like sold all 8 coins...
If Mint will increase the mintage, let's say to 15.000, than everyone could enjoy the coin without "flippers". This is not circulation coin, and do not suppose to be "rare".
As commems wrote about mintage of Silver Dollars - hundreds thousands, and people were happy to own one.
Probably the amount of collectors will decrease, cause they use to subsidize their collections by elementary speculation on the coins, and playing on the lack of knowledge of buyers...
