Shipping Coins Via USPS...is Tracking The Default Now?

DVCollector Bedrock of the Community United States 10045 Posts	Posted 03/10/2014 5:05 pm So I noticed something with my recent coin shipments. Normally, I don't buy tracking for the cheaper coins I ship, but I still notice my receipt includes a PID#. And sure enough, when I go to USPS tracking, the package has been tracked the whole way--but without paying that $1 fee. Have others noticed this--is buying tracking even necessary? I throw a Styrofoam peanut in there because I want tracking..makes it thick enough. I don't send any coins without it.
